Banyan Tree Haeundae Major Renovation Project

On December 4, Ssangyong E&C signed contracts for the Banyan Tree Haeundae Major Renovation Project in Busan.

The company’s know-how in delivery of hotel and resort infrastructure, with remodeling of the Jangchung-dong Ambassador Hotel among its major achievements to date, as well as the Ananti Cove Busan development, was a key factor in securing this contract.

Singapore, The Redevelopment of Alexandra Hospital at Alexandra Road

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction has won an order for "Alexandra Hospital," a hospital construction ordered by Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH), by our company, JV (Shimizu, Japan) and Kimly, Singapore.

Ssangyong E&C has a history of constructing high-tech medical facilities with about 12,000 beds worldwide. In Singapore, following Tantox Saint Hospital in 1998, New K.K. Hospital in 1999, and WHC in 2024, Alexandra Hospital will be constructed.

Gadeokdo New Airport Access Railway Project (T/K)

Ssangyong E&C has been commissioned by the Korea National Railway (KR) for the Gadeokdo New Airport Access Railway Project, Section 2, by way of a technical proposal tender (T/K).
With this award, the company has now secured four consecutive contracts from the Korea National Railway, following the Gangneung–Jejin Section 9 project in 2021, the Pyeongtaek–Osong Section 5 project in 2022, and the Gwangju–Suncheon Section 1 project in 2024.

This achievement reaffirms the company’s competitiveness and the strength of its good standing with the KR, the largest client for technical proposal bidding projects. The expectation now is for continued expansion and the securing of further railway construction projects.

Client: National Railroad Corporation

Contract Value: Approximately KRW 398 billion (including VAT/ 45% of the company)

Duration: 60 months from the start of construction
