Sky Bridge

Unique Design

S-shaped atypical exterior, world's only design

Atlantis The Royal Hotel boasts an atypical exterior curved in the shape of 'S' when viewed from the sky and looks like Lego blocks stacked up.

The exterior, which overwhelms the eyes, has a unique structure that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, and is a masterpiece of luxury architectural art that creates a unique visual effect.

Unique Design

Sky Bridge connecting two buildings

The towers, which are connected by 'Sky Bridge' installed 82m above ground, were installed through a special process of lifting with Strand Jack after pre-assembly.

On the rooftop on the 22nd floor of the hotel, a 90m long Sky Pool connected by the Sky Bridge spreads, providing Dubai's unique skyline and the Gulf view to all rooms.

Technology

Advanced Precision Construction Techniques

GFRC Panel 33,000 panels

The S-shaped curved façade was built with over 33,000 precisely installed GFRC panels, each joined with a uniform 5mm gap—an advanced construction feat achieved with perfection.

GGBS Ground Granulated Blast-furnace Slag

GGBS was applied to reduce carbon emissions, and high-strength concrete was applied to reduce the cross-sectional size and the amount of reinforcing steel.

Formwork System

To achieve a 7-day construction cycle, customized formwork systems were applied to core walls, slabs, and columns across all tower sections.

Concrete Conveyance Concrete Conveyance Planning

As the six towers vary in height, static pumps with different capacities were assigned to each tower based on the required vertical pumping distance.

Steel Structure

The steel structure installation method was used for the Main bridge, Cantilever, and Sky court
