Ssangyong E&C marked the arrival of 2026 with a special New Year ceremony on January 5, hosted in the main conference hall at its headquarters.
CEO Kim In-su was in attendance, together with domestic and overseas executives, team leaders, and award recipients. The ceremony brought all together to mark the beginning of the new year and reaffirm commitment to a renewed phase of growth.
Events saw the presentation of executive appointment letters, long-service awards, special commendations, and awards for outstanding project completion sites, as well as a New Year’s address and closing ceremony.
In his remarks, CEO Kim In-su noted that “The three years following the M&A has been a period of integrating different corporate cultures,” before stating that the company had now reached the point where it needed to set aside internal friction to instead prioritize tangible growth.
Continuing, he added, “Site-oriented, transparent, and accountable administration will be our platform for achieving risk-free management. To attain our goal of ranking 15th in construction capability by 2028, the active support and participation of both management and employees is essential. Above all, let us move forward together by prioritizing trust and unity across the organization, as well as the health and wellbeing of our employees and their families.”
The ceremony concluded with
commemorative photographs and an exchange of New Year greetings between

sustainable growth in 2026, grounded in “field-centered, accountable
management.”
