Seoul Shinmun Green Construction Awards Honors Ssangyong E&C

As recognition for its Dubai Immersive Tower project, Ssangyong E&C received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award (Global Construction category) at the 16th Seoul Shinmun Green Construction Awards. The event was hosted at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, on December 2.


The Immersive Tower is a premium office block with a total gross floor area of approximately 114,474 square meters, comprising three basement levels and 36 above-ground floors. Designed and constructed to align with LEED Platinum certification guidelines, the world’s leading green building standard, the project was acclaimed as a benchmark demonstration of sustainable construction technology and environmentally-friendly design.


The Seoul Shinmun Green Construction Awards honor those firms showing outstanding leadership in environmental protection, and actively implementing green tech in the industry, a key future growth sector. Supported by government ministries, the awards are widely regarded as the most prestigious in the Korean construction field.
